iBUILT is currently accepting applications for an Architectural Design Professional to work as an integral part of our Procurement Team in Berwick, PA. The Architectural Design Professional will be responsible for the overall architectural design specifications on multiple projects as well as for company standards. The Architectural Design Professional will develop detail design intent specifications for all building products. This position will also require coordination daily with the Design, BIM and Procurement departments. The Architectural Design Professional will participate in developing technical solutions to project design challenges. This position will report directly to the VP of Supply Chain.
Job Description
Responsible for the development of design intent standards and templates for all building products as part of standardization.
Provide project team coordination for incorporating design intent into the construction documentation.
Research products and provide cost effective, value engineered solutions that will achieve the same project objective
Assist the design team by identifying products and systems that accomplish the design intent
Review all Revit design documents including BIM objects and Bill of Materials and consult with the Design, Production and Procurement Departments, as appropriate, to ensure that the design intent is being maintained
Create and maintain 3 levels of finish product catalog
Other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications
Working knowledge of building design and construction methods.
Must have good understanding/knowledge of building codes, building materials, specifications, and construction techniques.
Working knowledge of the following: Revit, BIM, Microsoft office, Advanced Excel
SAP experience a plus.
Excellent communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
Excellent analytical and judgment skills.
Demonstrated ability to identify business process issues and drive process improvement.
Open-minded self-starter with the ability to adapt, improvise and problem solve.
Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and projects with various stakeholders with proper guidance of a team manager
Takes initiative and displays a sense of urgency – is highly responsive to business needs and unexpected situations that emerge
