Project Description

Deluxe Modular contracted with Balfour Beatty Communities and its parent company Balfour Beatty Construction to manufacture, deliver and finish 158 single-family homes, including 8 UFAS (Uniform Federal Accessibility Standards) living units, at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York. The project will provide housing at the Army post for Field Grade Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers. The project consists of 980 modular units and was completed in three phases. Phase One consisted of 28 houses, Phase Two consisted of 42 houses and Phase Three consisted of 90 houses. Each phase was released in different time frames for occupancy by Military personnel, with a final completion achieved in 2011.

Deluxe provided Turnkey services for this project from the foundation up. This project was Deluxe’s third military housing project with Balfour Beatty Communities. Deluxe previously completed apartments and townhouses for Fort Hamilton in New York, and single-family homes at Picatinny Arsenal in New Jersey.
